In 2007, Pacquiao participated for the first time in a political race towards a position on the Philippine People’s Council but lost to Darlene Antonio-Custodio and returned to being a boxer. Two years later, Manny joined the People’s Advocacy faction and became a delegate for her hometown Sarangani in May 2010 and continued her second term 3 years later.

Besides boxing and politics, Manny Pacquiao also showed off her singing skills with 2 albums and other collaborative songs. He also acted in several films and starred in the sitcom series Show Me, Da Manny, from 2009 to 2011. In early 2015, Manny, a documentary about his own life was released in America.

Personal life

Manny Pacquiao’s wife, Jinkee, was elected deputy mayor of Sarangani in 2013. They have 5 children together as of now.
